After living undiagnosed with ADHD for almost 50 years, proper treatment has, quite simply, transformed my whole world. I see life through a different lens, and feel like a completely new person, with renewed self-confidence, energy and focus . For once in my life I can control the chaotic, racing thoughts and negative self-talk in my head and actually get things-that-matter done. I am now more self-aware and considerate to others, I am a kinder, more patient and thoughtful partner to my spouse and father to my children. I’m able to resist self-destructive impulses and have the clarity to make wiser decisions. I left a dead-end job that I loathed and secured my dream job with a great company. For the first time in a long time I look forward to the future with optimism and confidence. I thank my good fortunes life intervened to push me to a dark place in order for me to finally say “enough!" and reach out for help. Thank You!

A Note From a Physician with ADHD on Day 2 of Starting Treatment:

"Wow I am happy :)

I never ever thought someone who ranked so high in exams could have ADHD! In third grade I had severe problem with attention, making mistakes, daydreaming in class to the point that they thought I had petit mal, and I had EEG done, etc.

I used to fidget (crazy shaking my leg) or chew on pencils intently; all my pencils and pens were chewed up. Later I started chewing gums all day to stay focused. Then I started taking notes so when I wrote I could pay attention and not drift away. I was labeled as a genius in high school by every math and physics teacher who worked with me…

I have started multiple hobbies and have been great but never can stick to following… I never finished my Masters degree, … I just could not force myself to finish writing it…

Thanks again!
