At ConnectMD, we are committed to improving understanding and care for people living with mental health conditions and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Although ADHD is common, it remains widely misunderstood — particularly in adults. Many people struggle for years without clear answers, often being misdiagnosed or told their difficulties are due to personality, motivation, or stress. Training in adult ADHD remains limited across medical education, which means many individuals never receive the support they actually need.
We believe ADHD must be understood as part of the broader mental health picture. ADHD frequently overlaps with anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and burnout. Because of this, effective care requires attention to the whole person, not just a single diagnosis or symptom.
Our mission is to provide thoughtful, personalized, and clinically grounded care to individuals with ADHD and related mental health concerns — while also advocating for a healthcare system that makes this kind of care possible.
A significant part of my motivation comes from watching patients feel understood, validated, and finally able to move forward after years of confusion or self-blame. ADHD and complex mental health assessments are deeply time-intensive, yet current healthcare structures often fail to reflect the reality of what high-quality care requires.
Sustainable, high-quality mental healthcare depends on:
So that people who need help the most are not left behind.
Through every patient we support, every resource we share, and every system we challenge, we are working toward a future where individuals with ADHD and mental health challenges receive the care, understanding, and respect they deserve.
*What keeps me going is seeing patients shift from feeling broken or lazy to recognizing that they have been living with a treatable condition—and watching their lives open up again.
